Discourses
The two different discourses that are present are a dumb blonde in a library and how she relates to acting in a library. She orders food and then when she is told that she is in a library she remembers that she is to act differently by whispering. This discourse creates humor and shows us all that things are not always as they seem.

What were you taught NEVER to do as a writer?
As a writer I was taught to never start a sentence with a conjunction. And or but? Well why can't I start a sentence with those two words? God made those words for me to use. And I want to use them. See that works. But, I don't want to sound like I am uneducated. I don't see why these rules were so imperative to follow. When you start your sentence with a conjunction you can add a dramatic feeling to your words. But, I wouldn't start sentences with and or but too much. You don't want to sound like a continuously run on sentence. I think the rule is a give and take. Don't take too much and give a little.

This is what I did today! Don't you know I am claustrophobic? Well, not really but good try.
This is just one of the many things that I will get to experience in the coming weeks. I not really scared about but not looking forward to it.
Just trying to get use to the new people and this hotel room for now. I am sure that I will experience some sort of tent life in the coming
weeks. New people, new faces, new places, even new socks... The word of the week in new. I am trying to make new friends but I seem to be
mute right now. Not wanting to know who you are or where you came from. And that is not my personality at all. Everyone knows that
Danielle doesn't know a stranger. I guess I am just feeling people out and seeing what they are made of. I don't really want to let
anyone in my world right now. Guarded is in my best interest right now! Well more adventures await! Just need to get some rest so
I can serve and protect. Love you all!

The first day is the hardest...
Who would have thought that I would be here? Where is here? In the middle of starting a new life at the age of thirty.. well if you know me you know in not really as old as my driver license states. I am starting over, new life, new job, new uniform. It has been hard to swallow. It has been hard to even get my breath. But like they say... "The first day is the hardest". And it is over. Lots of paperwork, sign here, if you forget this it's your fault, remember this and remember that. I am sure there will be many other things to do remember, forget, say and not say for that matter. Just trying to keep it together and make you proud of me. Well made it through day one... Now 364 more to go!
